LEARN Education Fair at Exploration Place
The Local Education Adult Resource Network (LEARN) Wichita and the Exploration Place are working together to help adults go back to school. On Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12 from 11am to 3pm each day, over 15 colleges and universities from the Wichita area will be available. The event will be held at Exploration Place in the Grand Promenade.
The public & museum goers are invited to visit individually with each of these schools. Representatives will be on hand with the latest class schedules, degree options and credential course options. Mention you were there for the fair and you receive $1 off admission of Exploration Place. This discount is good for EP's two current traveling exhibits: How to Make a Monster: The Art and Technology of Animatronics, and DOUBLEXPOSURE: Photographic Climate Change, in addition to EP's permanent exhibits.
LEARN-Wichita is a non-profit educational organization comprised of colleges, universities and trade/technical schools located in Wichita that work together to provide a rich diversity of educational opportunities for adults and employers. They offer certification programs, associates, bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees. Part-time, full-time, accelerated, classroom-based, online, and distance-learning educational formats are available.
Exploration Place, Kansas' premier science center, offers visitors of all ages interactive exhibits, the state's largest domed theater - the CyberDome, imaginative spaces, and outdoor recreation, all located on a 20-acre site along the scenic Arkansas River in the downtown Wichita, Kan., Museums on the River District.
