Webster University ranked 24th in the recently-released “America’s Best Colleges” 2010 edition of U. S. News and World Report, in the Best Universities-Master’s” (Midwest) category—placing it again in the Top Tier. Nationwide, 572 universities are in the “Best Universities-Master’s” category; 142 of those are in the Midwest region.
Notably, Webster University’s Study Abroad programs rank in the top 2 percent of the more than 1,400 colleges and universities surveyed in the Report. Webster is one of just 34 U.S. institutions to share this distinction, which recognizes study abroad programs that involve substantial academic work for credit and considerable interaction with the local culture.
“Webster University has made McConnell AFB and Wichita home since 1976,” Heilman said. “Wichita has some very talented professionals in diverse industries, and our accelerated format, world-recognized graduate degrees, flexible scheduling, in-class and/or online formats, and student-centered focus make us very attractive to them,” Heilman said. In October, Webster University launches the 36-credit-hour Master of Health Administration [MHA], which is much like an MBA tailored to the healthcare industry.
Headquartered in St. Louis, MO, Webster University is a worldwide institution committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences that transform students for global citizenship and individual excellence. Founded in 1915, Webster offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs through five schools and colleges, and a global network of more than 100 campuses.
