Old Town Warren
So by this point, the fact that the Old Town Warren has received a $6M low-interest loan from the City is old news. Oscars will close. Possible new conference space will be added. We don't really have final word there. In an interesting twist, Bill Warren is now asking for the public to speak out about what they want to see done with the theatre. Surveys will soon start to go out and your feedback will be requested. So, what do you think? What would attract you to visit the Old Town Warren more often? Let's get our voice heard here!

I would really hate to see Oscars leave. If that's the case, maybe they can make it into a banquet hall or some type of recreation center.

I think one option for the Old Town Warren Theater would be to show more art/independent films, something similar to what they have in Salina, check out:

Old Town and Downtown have so much going on on the art front with the galleries, CityArts, Final Friday and the like that this would only seem to compliment.
I know the East Warren shows some art/indie films and the Wichita Center for the Arts has as well, but I think having more options never hurts and would be a great utilization for the location, space, and capabilities of the Old Town Warren.
